Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the strategic management of sales, customer service, and distribution, while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives. This role includes direct and indirect management of a cross‑functional team and the promotion of strong collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the strategic alignment of sales and customer service while maintaining coherence with organizational objectives.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management by ensuring the team reduces stockouts, maintains critical inventory levels, and meets delivery schedules.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), guiding the team in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Optimize and implement processes designed to enhance cross‑functional operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory management (levels, stock age, obsolete or discontinued products) in collaboration with the team.
- Track market indices (metals and plastics) and update price lists accordingly.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support tactical purchasing and ensure service alignment and operational fluidity.
- Identify and oversee the resolution of system and application anomalies or errors, ensuring corrective actions are implemented by the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English (essential)*.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced lookup functions).
- Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and effective priority management.
- Interest in change management and openness to new ways of working.
- Strong customer focus and excellent stress management.
- Acts as a proactive, engaging, and dedicated leader.
