Viking Edmonton has made a donation to this junior hockey club and Trevor J. Stewart’s family attended this fundraiser on January 16, 2022. The funds were being raised for the Robin Hood Foundation for special needs people in the Strathcona area.
T.J.’s uncle Deek having special needs is a part of this association.
The foundation had 4 catalytic converters stolen from their vans that they use to transport the special needs people to appointments, shopping and events in the Strathcona area. The hockey team that we sponsor put on an exhibition game at Saikers Acers where they hold the world longest hockey game every year as a fund raiser for cancer research. Dr Brent Saik was kind enough to get the ice and building ready for us to host this event. It was a fun night and the Robin Hood people appreciated it. The junior hockey club and its volunteers did a great job putting this on and it was nice to be a part of it.
